CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services) has partnered up with Kelley Blue Book to offer you a new way to repurpose your unwanted vehicle. The CARS full-service Vehicle Donation Program lets you choose from over 3,500 nonprofits to benefit from your donation.
Why donate your car?
Is your car in need of costly repairs? Was it not worth as much as you hoped for? Just feeling generous? Whatever your reason, CARS makes donating your car easy. You may even receive a tax deduction in the process!
How it works

We’re here to guide you every step of the way so you can feel confident about your donation. Start by choosing a nonprofit below, fill out our online form or call [KBB Phone Number] and one of our helpful Customer Service Representatives will guide you through the process.
Schedule a Free Pick-up
Simply choose a convenient time for you. We’ll pick up your vehicle just about anywhere in the U.S. within 72 hours of completing the donation. All vehicles considered, running or not.
Receive a Tax Deduction
Most vehicle donations qualify for a tax deduction. You’ll receive a tax receipt for your meaningful contribution at the time of the pick-up.
Tax Benefits
When your vehicle is picked up, the driver will provide you with a Thank You letter which serves as a tax receipt. You may claim up to $500 on your donation even if your vehicle sells for less. If your vehicle sells for over $500, we will provide a 1098-C IRS form which will allow you to claim the full sale price.
